NHS REVIEWSPosted by RENATA BARNES Sun, August 19, 2018 12:42:00HOSPITAL CLEANSINESS.
They say that hospitals have to be clean, well ever since my daughter was admitted into hospital 5 days ago, I beg to differ. As a sufferer of OCD for the last 30 years
I am more aware about germs and bacteria than the average person.
Upon arrival and before sitting down I brought with me all my cleaning products needed to disinfect our surroundings. I started cleaning the window sills first off with dettol and anti-bacterial wipes. The nurses on duty commented about the smell and how refreshing it was to inhale and that it was a shame the hospitals do not use Dettol anymore......
When I finally finished cleaning, my wipes were very dirty and brown, so to make a point I left them on the trolley for a senior staff member to see. When the doctor came in I pointed out how dirty I found the room to be and his reply was I'm a Doctor not a Cleaner......
This annoyed me as he continued to say if I had a complaint I should raise it with the Ward Manager or the Cleaning staff. He clearly missed the point as guaranteed if I went to every single ward in the hospital I would find the same standards everywhere.Considering my daughter is at high risk of contracting diseases you would have thought the area would be super clean.
Furthermore the oxygen mask they gave my daughter was neither wiped before use or after she had finished with it, so imagine someone with vrus could have used it before my daughter. The thought makes me shudder.
The hygenie standards of the UHW are really bad and they wonder why people do not like coming into hospitals.
I also observed the one doctor who had trouble getting my daughter bloods, pushed the syringe up rather than down. I'm no expert but surely that is pushing air into the veins? correct me if i'm wrong? What was I supposed to do or say "excuse me but what the hell are you doing?" im sure that would not have gone down well.
Also the intelligence of some of the staff is something to be desired. I was always taught when you enter the room and you see more than one person you address them all and not ignore the one and just talk to the other. Its called etiquette.
Obviously this Doctor who did not have a name badge
was not taught manners and blattently ignored me as if I was invisible. Surely as I am the mother she should have at least acknowledged both my daugher and I and then continued with ther job.
All I can say was we were on ward C4 at eh UHW or (UHS as it is called now in Cardiff Wales)
and the Doctor was a female muslim because of her head dress. I did not once see her wash her hands prior to taking my daughters bloods and she did not wear gloves as she was having problems feeling my daughters veins.
I thought that every time a doctor or nurse attends to a patient they have to wash their hands, this has not been the case in Unit C4 or in A&E when my daughter was admitted a few months ago and was ther overnight.
Also what happened to the rule (bare below the elbows)
does that just apply to nurses or should all staff that care for patents wellbeing?, as that was clearly not the case with this female doctor on Unit C4 on 19/08//18.My OCD observations are clearly doing over-time and the hospital should hire me to be the health inspector.
MARKETINGPosted by Andrew Jones Sat, August 18, 2018 22:10:05PAYMENTS FOR SERVICES RENDERED!
For businesses considering to pay their employees in anything else other than good old fashion cash, they have another thing coming......
As crypto currency has evolved, so has tighter regulations on who can and can't trade. What this means is one has to acquire a license in order to have search engines rank your website, without this your website will just float in cyberspace or may be taken down indefinatley.
The same goes with businesses paying their employees in gold bullion only or accepting payments in gold or silver bullion. A new law has been introduced in order not to avoid paying taxes, so that it is illegal to trade this way.

BANKING MARKETINGPosted by RENATA BARNES Sun, August 05, 2018 18:56:49BANKING SECURITY.
What may sound far fetched or an innovation for the future may in actual fact be closer to our present time than we think, with passwords being a thing of the past.
Biometrics security uses technology such as Facial, Retina, Voice and Fingerprint Recognition and is already being implemented into our passports and in Government Institutions. We already have biometric fingerprint recognition in our schools for school meals in the UK.
Banking institutions will use facial scanners and voice recognition to authenticate users to allow access to all the banking services. This will potentially eliminate identity theft by using an individual’s facial
characteristics to athenticate the user which is more secure than passwords and chip and pin or contactless that can be cloned or stolen.
What will happen eventually in the future we will have chips implanted which will hold all our data which will be a replacement for our credit and debit cards.
Recently MasterCard announced that they will be introducing biometric payment cards with built in finger sensors.
The concept will ensure that the user will have to authenticate the payment with their finger print which will authorise the payment. This will also act as a move over new EU regulations that will come into force later this year to combat bank fraud, enforcing people to have two way authentication security methods to complete transactions.

COFFEE SHOP REVIEWSPosted by RENATA BARNES Sat, August 04, 2018 14:45:03COSTA COFFEE!
Coffee giants such as 'Costa Coffee' do not care about customers
, they just care how much they can sell.
If they loose one customer due to bad customer relations they are not worried as they will gain multiples more.
Its up to the area managers to intervene if a complaint is raised and not sweep the complaint under the carpet and pasify the complaintee.
Costa Coffee 50-52 Albany Rd, Cardiff CF24 3RR
in particular over a month ago had such a complaint when a customer asked for a drink but without the coffee.
The reason why the customer asked for a drink without coffee was because she was ordering it for her daughter who has MS and is not allowed to have too much caffine. The customer was prepared to pay for the full price of the drink yet the barista refused.
When the customer asked "why she could not have a drink without the coffee"
the store manager who spoke broken English said "the till could not process the order".
The customer then said "how would the till know if the barista put coffee into a cup or not?". The store manager was adamament that the customers daughter had to have the drink with the coffee potentially endagering her life.
At that point the customer became angry and what she should have said was "if you use your common sense and not but coffee in the drink",
but what she actually said what "if you use your brain"
. At this point the store manager then retaliated and said the customer was banned.A few days later after the customer brought the complaint to customer services, she was assured that she was welcome at any Costa Shop and an apology was made on behalf of Costa including having points added to the loyalty card.
Following the conversation the customer then went back to the same shop again a few days later, where she was greeted by the same store manager who continued to refuse to serve her.
The customer's daughter then went up to the counter seperately and was greeted by a male barista who told the daughter she too was also banned.
This is disgraceful as the customers 17 year old daughter was brought to tears in the shop and hobbled out on crutches in disbelief.
This had nothing to do with the customers daughter other than she could not have caffine.
Since then the complaint was raised with the owner of Whitbread who passed the complaint down the ladder with the assurance that the franchise owner would be in touch. On research Costa is owned by Whitbread and they do not have franchise owners.
At the end of the day all the customer wanted was a written apology and so far she has not had anything, which brings me to the point that Whitbread/Costa simply do not care.
So imagine if they upset a CEO of a Marketing Company would they just loose one customer or hundreds or even thousands?.............the saga continues.....
Anyone reading this should take their custom else where, unless you too want to be treated with disrespect and humiliation........... Before you say anything the customer did apologise to the store manager for using words out of context. But none of this should have happened or escalated to this level in the first place if the store manager simply did not add coffee into a drink that the customer requested.
On 07/08/18 The customer received an email from the Franchise Company www.larentia.co.uk which so happens their website does not load?........... Stating that they will refuse to give an apology and continue to stand their ground that the customer was rude and intimidating. (Even if that was the case which it wasn't, why was the customers daughter banned? she did not utter one word?)
Well the customer so happens to be the CEO of 'Cymru Marketing'.
We will be actively promoting the following coffee shops free of charge for the next 12 months just so that Costa loose more than one customer.
Here is a list of local coffee shops that serve customised drinks without the rudeness from the staff and their coffees are just as nice or even better. The Best Coffee Shops/Cafes in and around Albany Road Cardiff. UK.Coffee#1

BANKING MARKETINGPosted by RENATA BARNES Sat, August 04, 2018 13:14:25THE FUTURE OF BANKING.
Tech giants such as Amazon, Apple, Google and Facebook will be the portals to banking for the future. Companies such as Apple, Google and Samsung already have e-commerce solutions on offer. They already have a large consumer base and will be able to offer loans and mortgages.
Obviously there will be privacy concerns on how your data is used especially after the recent episode of Facebook data sharing. The Open Banking Regulations give consumers the option to share data with third parties in order to help them manage their finances better. Futhermore convenience of banking online will eliminate fears over concerns.
Consumers are already adopting peer-to-peer payments, digital-first banks, cryptocurrencies and gold and silver bullion.
Business's such as Amazon and Apple already have the contingency, technology and the ability to invest in such ventures. But the future of Banking in this way will have to be regulated for global financial stability, as this gives fintech companies the opportunity to follow suit.
